Information on negotiations on the higher-level collective agreement between ZSP SR and OZ KOVO

The negotiation process between the relevant trade union organisations and employers is governed by the Act on Collective Bargaining. The aim of this negotiation is to conclude a higher-level collective agreement (KZVS) between ZSP SR and OZ KOVO. The KZVS defines the individual and collective relations between employers and employees, as well as the scope of the rights and obligations of the contracting parties. In this respect, collective bargaining is an excellent and proven tool for promoting effective social dialogue and achieving social peace based on the principle of bipartism.

A concluded KZVS is binding on the contracting parties, i.e. in the first step on employers and employees in companies that are members of ZSP SR. After a possible extension by the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family, it also applies to those companies within the sector to which the extension relates. In addition to the cases mentioned, the KZVS is also binding on an employer who requests the contracting parties to accede to the KZVS and the contracting parties agree to this. Company-level collective agreements are also derived from the KZVS.

On behalf of ZSP SR, the negotiating team consists of:
